Drexo Privacy Policy

Welcome to Drexo ("we," "us," "our," or the "App"). Drexo is a boxing training companion designed for users aged 18 and older. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services. By downloading, installing, or using Drexo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use the App.
1. Age Requirement
Drexo is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a user under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our servers and records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at boxing@drexodesign.com so we can take appropriate action.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your chosen nickname and profile photo. You may also provide optional biographical details visible on your profile.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Training session logs, text notes, voice recaps, photos, comments, replies, and any other content you create, upload, or share within the App.
- Feedback and Communications: Any messages, feedback, suggestions, or support requests you submit to us through the App or via email.
- In-App Purchase Information: When you make in-app purchases, Apple processes the transaction. We receive a transaction receipt and subscription status but do not collect or store your payment card details, bank account numbers, or other financial information directly.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, language settings, and time zone.
- Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage frequency, session duration, training round counts, and navigation paths within the App.
- Network Information: IP address, network type (Wi-Fi or cellular), and connection status used to deliver content and maintain service quality.
- Crash and Performance Data: Diagnostic logs, crash reports, and performance metrics to help us identify and resolve technical issues.
2.3 Information from Device Permissions
Drexo may request access to certain device features. You can manage these permissions at any time through your device settings:
- Camera: Used to capture live training covers, record ring-side portraits, and snap post-round moments for your session logs. Camera access is only activated when you explicitly initiate a capture action within the App.
- Photo Library: Used to select and attach existing photos as profile portraits, training session covers, or media attachments in your session logs and replies. We only access photos you specifically select.
- Microphone: Used to record voice recaps after your training rounds, attach coaching voice notes to session logs, and send voice replies in conversations. Audio recording only occurs when you explicitly tap the record button.
- Network Access: Required for loading content, syncing data, processing in-app purchases, delivering AI coaching responses, and communicating with our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of the App, including training logs, combo drills, AI coaching, and personal archive features.
- To create and manage your user account and personalize your experience.
- To process and manage in-app purchases and subscription services, including verifying purchase receipts and managing subscription status.
- To moderate user-generated content and enforce our community guidelines and content policies.
- To respond to your feedback, support requests, and communications.
- To analyze usage patterns and trends to improve App features, performance, and user experience.
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, security threats, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations, regulations, and law enforcement requests.
- To send important service-related notifications, such as changes to our terms or policies.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Drexo offers optional in-app purchases and subscription plans that provide access to premium features and content. All in-app purchase transactions are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store payment infrastructure. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, bank account details, or any other direct payment information.
- Transaction Receipts: We receive transaction receipts from Apple to verify and validate your purchases and manage your subscription status.
- Subscription Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Subscription renewals are handled by Apple according to their terms.
- Refund Requests: Refund requests for in-app purchases must be directed to Apple, as they process all payments. We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing for in-app purchases and subscriptions. Any price changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect active subscription periods.
5. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy
Drexo allows users to create, upload, and share content including training logs, session notes, photos, voice recordings, comments, and replies. By submitting content to the App, you represent and warrant that your content complies with this Privacy Policy and our content guidelines.
5.1 Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of the content you create and submit. However, by posting content within the App, you grant Drexo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the App and its services.
5.2 Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Drexo. Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent account termination without prior notice:
- Sexually Explicit or Pornographic Material: Any content that depicts, describes, promotes, or solicits sexual acts, nudity, sexual arousal, or pornographic material in any form, including but not limited to images, videos, audio recordings, text descriptions, or links to external sexually explicit content. This includes both real and digitally generated or illustrated sexual content.
- Disturbing, Graphic, or Gratuitously Violent Content: Any content that is designed to shock, disgust, or cause psychological distress to viewers, including but not limited to graphic depictions of real violence, gore, severe injuries, mutilation, torture, animal cruelty, or content that glorifies or trivializes human suffering. Training-related content showing legitimate boxing technique and controlled sparring is permitted.
- Gambling and Betting Content: Any content that promotes, advertises, facilitates, or solicits participation in gambling activities, sports betting, casino games, lotteries, fantasy sports with monetary stakes, or any other form of wagering, whether legal or illegal in any jurisdiction. This includes sharing betting tips, odds, or links to gambling platforms.
- Drug and Substance Abuse Content: Any content that promotes, glorifies, facilitates, or provides instructions for the use, manufacture, purchase, or distribution of illegal drugs, controlled substances, recreational drug use, drug paraphernalia, or the misuse of prescription medications or performance-enhancing substances. Content discussing legitimate sports nutrition and legal supplementation in an educational context is permitted.
- Political Content and Propaganda: Any content that promotes political parties, political candidates, political campaigns, political ideologies, or political propaganda. This includes election-related content, political advertisements, partisan commentary, government criticism or endorsement intended to influence political opinion, and content designed to incite political division or unrest.
- Discrimination, Hate Speech, and Harassment: Any content that attacks, demeans, threatens, harasses, bullies, intimidates, or discriminates against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, caste, immigration status, or any other protected characteristic. This includes slurs, derogatory language, stereotyping, dehumanizing comparisons, and calls for exclusion or violence against any group.
- Terrorism and Extremism: Any content that promotes, supports, glorifies, or recruits for terrorist organizations, extremist groups, or violent ideologies. This includes propaganda materials, recruitment messaging, and content that celebrates or incites acts of terrorism or mass violence.
- Misinformation and Harmful Health Claims: Any content that spreads demonstrably false information that could cause real-world harm, including dangerous health misinformation, false emergency alerts, or fabricated claims about public safety.
- Illegal Activities: Any content that promotes, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, identity theft, hacking, unauthorized access to systems, trafficking, money laundering, or any other criminal conduct.
- Spam and Commercial Solicitation: Unsolicited commercial messages, advertisements, promotional content, chain messages, pyramid schemes, or any form of spam that disrupts the user experience.
- Impersonation and Deception: Content that impersonates other individuals, organizations, or entities, or that is designed to deceive or mislead other users about the identity or intentions of the poster.
- Intellectual Property Violations: Content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
5.3 Content Moderation and Enforcement
We reserve the right to review, monitor, and moderate all user-generated content submitted to the App. Our moderation practices include:
- Automated content filtering systems that scan submissions for prohibited material.
- Manual review of flagged or reported content by our moderation team.
- User reporting mechanisms that allow community members to flag inappropriate content.
- Proactive monitoring of content trends and patterns to identify emerging policy violations.
When a violation is identified, we may take one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion:
- Remove or hide the offending content without prior notice.
- Issue a warning to the user responsible for the violation.
- Temporarily suspend the user's account and restrict their ability to post content.
- Permanently terminate the user's account and delete all associated content.
- Report the content and user information to relevant law enforcement authorities when required by law or when we believe there is an imminent threat to safety.
5.4 User Reporting
If you encounter content that you believe violates this policy, please report it using the in-app reporting tools or contact us directly at boxing@drexodesign.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. You may also use the block feature to prevent specific users from interacting with you.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, including cloud hosting, analytics, content delivery, and customer support services. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties when you have given us explicit consent to do so.
7. Data Storage and Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL protocols.
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the App at your own risk.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements.
9. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local data protection laws:
- Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we process it.

- Contract Performance: Where processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, including providing the App's services and managing your account.
- Legitimate Interests: Where processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, such as improving the App, ensuring security, and preventing fraud, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal Obligation: Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
9.2 International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. When we transfer data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your personal data in accordance with GDPR requirements.
10. Your Choices and Controls
- Account Settings: You can update your profile information, nickname, and profile photo at any time through the App's profile editing feature.
- Device Permissions: You can grant or revoke camera, photo library, and microphone permissions at any time through your device's system settings. Revoking permissions may limit certain App features.
- Content Management: You can delete your own training logs, drafts, and saved content through the App.
- Blocking Users: You can block other users to prevent them from interacting with you or viewing your content.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time through the Settings page in the App. Account deletion will remove your profile, content, and associated data.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or content that are not owned or controlled by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the App. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
13. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. 14. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution mechanisms described in our Terms of Service.
